Kraftin Kimmie April Day 3 Peek: Look Out World and new Layering New Baby Stencil

Good morning and welcome to
Day THREE of our April Krafty Peeks!

Today we are sharing an ADORABLE new stamp set from artist Neda!

It's called LOOK OUT WORLD!

Sooooooo cute....and the sentiments are just the best!

Who doesn't need a new baby stamp set for welcoming babies, baby showers, birthdays and fun scrapbook pages! (I can tell you I've used this set so much already!)

PLUS check out this amazing new set of layering stencils to coordinate called NEW BABY!

As you head out on today's Krafty Hop you'll get to enjoy lots of gorgeous creations from our Krafty Team featuring
LOOK OUT WORLD and NEW BABY in combination with some of our other incredible products such as our Krafty Kolours Hybrid Inks!

This set couldn't come at a better time! We have a delivery person who's wife just had a baby girl and because he is the sweetest my boss and I wanted to congratulate him on the new arrival!

I went for a very sweet almost vintage vibe on this one, keeping the colour scheme very simple with peaches and some mustard yellow colours.

I must admit I'm not the best at layering my images(I was lazy and didn't mask the images), but because I stamped the images in Mostly Melon very lightly once I added the ink over top, you couldn't see my mistake as much.

I hope you enjoy this fun stamp set. I didn't get the stencil this month, but I know the girls rocked their projects with this stencil!

Kraftin Kimmie April Release Day 2 Peek: Fruity Fun!

 Welcome back!
Did you enjoy yesterday's Peeks?
Well, we are back with MORE fun stuff!

Today we are spotlighting a new stamp set from artist Michelle Houghton called FRUITY FUN!

Who doesn't love fruit?
And fruit plus puns.....equals tons of FUN!

As you head out on today's Krafty Hop you'll get to enjoy lots of gorgeous creations from our Krafty Team featuring FRUITY FUN and the FRESH FRUIT stencil in combination with some of our other incredible products such as our Krafty Kolours Hybrid Inks!

Watermelons are always a staple for our family meals in the Summer. I can remember smashing the watermelon when we forgot a knife!

I watercoloured the watermelon slices with the following Kraftin Kimmie Ink cubes: Pretty in PinkPink PizazzBerry BoldFresh Fields, and Stormy Sky (note stormy sky was used to darken up the fresh field ink). I had embossed each of the watermelon slices with white embossing powder.

I then cut each of the watermelons into slices and attached it around the slimline base that I had made by layering a pink cardstock (inked with rainy day stencil to add seeds to the paper), then paired it with a green sparkly paper.

I had a few watermelon themed stickers in my stash so I used that around the sentiment.

I love how my watermelons turned out, but I would probably pay more attention to how I'm cutting them up next time, as I have to admit this card is a bit busy for my liking.

I challenge you next time you don't want to pull out your markers to use your Kraftin Kimmie inks to watercolour a stamp. Its very easy, you just have to make sure to not let the ink dry when blending.

Kraftin Kimmie April Peek Day 1: Fruity Favourites and Fresh Fruit Layering Stencil!

Who's ready for some brand new Krafty Goodies?

It's time to bring you NEW stamp sets and layering stencils
from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

In case you haven't heard, we are moving to release every other month but the same number of wonderful products!

So we will be sharing FOUR new stamp sets and TWO new sets of layering stencils over the course of this week!

Today we are excited to kick things off with a super SWEET stamp set from artist Sabrina van Vloten called FRUITY FAVOURITES!!  You may remember her design called Fall Favourites from last autumn!  You loved it so much that we expanded on this yummy theme!

ALSO we have a coordinating set of layering stencils which is super FRESH!

It's called FRESH FRUIT!

As you head out on today's Krafty Hop you'll get to enjoy lots of gorgeous creations from our Krafty Team featuring FRUITY FAVOURITES and FRESH FRUIT in combination with some of our other incredible products such as our Krafty Kolours Hybrid Inks!

Who doesn't love cut little ladybugs and a refreshing summer drink!

I started by making my background panel with our new Fresh Fruit stencil focusing on the raspberries and lemons and not inking the fruit that didn't match my colours. Ink used as follows:

Summer SunshineYummy YellowMostly Melon, and Bashful Blush!

Next I coloured the lovely Fruity Favourites in a no-line copic colour scheme. It was so much fun to colour!

Lastly, I layered my coloured panel with some scrap pattern paper, and embellished with Gems from Prima and stickers from my stash. My sentiment was stamped in Bashful Blush

I cannot wait to colour up the other stamps in this set, I have already got request from my mom to colour up this image only in more of a red colour scheme and strawberry lemonade.
