Kraftin Kimmie Stamps September New Release Hop and Shop!

Today we are celebrating all the new fabulous goodies in our September Release that are NOW available in the

You may not know, but one thing I love is combining stamp sets to make something a little bit unique. 

When I saw the Perfect Poinsettias set I thought those flowers could be some whimsical sunflowers as well! 

I combined the Perfect Pointsettia and Autumn Pumpkins to make an autumnal wreath card!

The tone tan paper adds a richness to the colours, and I think I'm going to have to do it again soon!

September Kraftin Kimmie Day 4 Peek: Perfect Poinsettias!

       Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the September Release 

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a wonderful set

PERFECT POINSETTIAS!

This amazing stamp set is filled with beautiful florals and foliage to add poinsettia images to your holiday projects! Imagine lovely layers of goodness! Plus the sentiments included are fabulous!!

As you hop around the design team's blogs today you'll be able to check out PERFECT POINSETTIAS in action in combination with a lot of our other new September Kraftin' Kimmie products!  

Today I want to share my home decor project I made for the release! 

I started by painting the embroidery hoop with Marvelous Mocha refill ink, and then added some alcohol onto a cotton pad to swipe some of the ink away to show off the wood texture of the hoop. 

Who knew you could stain wood with the inks! This excited me so much I took a photo of the hoop before I added the florals. 

I added some gold opaque watercolour over the top of the hoop as well. 

I then painted the lovely florals and foliage with my watercolours, and added some gold pearls to the flowers.

 I then glued the images to the hoop in a wreath shape. 

I added a banner to the top by first inking the sentiment strip with the Original Olive ink, and then heat embossed the sentiment. 

I think this may be my favorite project that I made of this release! I hope to hang it on someone's door for Christmas!

September Kraftin Kimmie Peek Day 3: Santa's Village!

    Today is our third day of Krafty Peeks for the September Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are 'peeking' a super adorable set

SANTA'S VILLAGE!

Santa and his super sweet friends are perfect to create a Christmas scene, and you might just want to mix in this month's Stamp Of The Month... Just sayin'!

Check out SANTA'S VILLAGE in so many creations today as you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs! You'll also see the new stencils, Add-Ons and hybrid ink along the way!

Krafty friends I made a pop up card! this was a labor of love, and maybe a few little tears, as I have never made one before!

The fold is called a concertina fold, with the addition of pop up tabs. 

I started by decorating each step of the fold  with pattern paper, and then I cut slits on the back to make the pop up tabs. I then decorated the stamps with as many lovely images from the Santa's village stamp set. 

I would probably make another concertina pop up card, but with a bit more planning on where I want the tabs before I start cutting next time. 

I hope this inspires you to use as many stamps as you can with your lovely Kraftin Kimmie stamps!

Kraftin Kimmie September Release Peek Day 2: Cozy Christmas Kids!

     Welcome back to Day TWO of our September Krafty Peeks!

Are you excited about what you've seen so far!?  Are you ready for more?

I hope your answer was yes because we've got more fabulous fun for you today!

This adorable set is perfect to set the scene for a very cozy holiday!

When I saw the cute little baby stamp in the set, I knew I wanted to make a baby's first Christmas card! 

I started by making masks of all the elements, and planning out the design of the main ornament. 

I coloured up the stamps with my copics after I finished making my scene. 

I then decided to pull out some pattern paper to match the colours in the main ornament. 

Lastly, I curved one of the sentiment stamps to fit inside the ornament, and added sticker sentiments to the bottom corner for baby's first Christmas. 

This stamp set is so adorable!

 I'm excited for all the accessory stamps, and what we can use to combine with other sets!

I coloured up the pumpkins in a row with some more muted colours from a inspirational colour swatch I found on pinterest.

I then, decided to ink the rectangle with the new original olive ink to add a bit of brightness to make the muted colours stand out.

I used clear embossing powder through the fantastic fractal stencil over the script kraft pattern paper. This gave me a resist panel that I then added old olive, marvolous mocha, and sandy shores to the lines left behind that were not embossed.

Going through my stash of paper I pulled out 2 that I cut at an angle and tore the edge, I cut out 2 circles and a tag.

Lastly, I added a bit of vintage burlap behind the image to add to the rustic feel of this card and decorated with some 3d hearts and stickers.

Hope this inspires you to try some muted colours.

Kraftin Kimmie Saturday Challenge: Monochrome!

This week, Krafty Girl Brigitte is your hostess and her challenge theme for you is: 

MONOCHROME

I had the idea of a pumpkin spice latte card for all those who are obsessed with the spice of fall. I chose the stamp set Life is a journey, as I wanted a stamp set of a person drinking a hot beverage. First, I started by painting her in as much orange hues as I could, even the pants that are brown have a top glaze of orange over them to add to the monochrome feel. I then, chose a bunch of orange scraps from my scrap bin to add layers of pattern paper behind the image. I added a pumpkin stickers to reinforce the pumpkin spice theme, and some pretty gems and hearts. 

I honestly don't drink hot beverages so I don't know what pumpkin spice latte's taste like, but I do love pumpkin spice muffins, scones, and donuts so I think I am team Pumpkin Spice! 

 

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

   Good morning krafty friends!

It's September, and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!
