Hello Everyone, I'm Sharing My Card For The Monthly Saturday Challenge Mid Inspiration Post

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are back today with an inspirational post showcasing more ideas to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing!

We can't wait to see what you create!

This month the challenge themes for you are:

You can choose any or all - whatever inspires you!

Krafty Girl Jasmin is hosting the mid-inspiration post today!

I chose to use the adorable Made With Love stamp set. This stamp is so cute with her little apron and kitten helper! 

I will be the first to admit I struggle with coming up with scenes, but I love it when I see other's do it. 

So I decided to tackle the challenge by making a little kitchen scene, using digital die-cuts with my Silhouette machine. 

I then wanted some retro wallpaper so I stenciled with Cozy Checks and Crisp Crimson ink. 

I inked the edges of the die cuts with Sandy Shores, and Ocean Opulence ink to add more depth.

This card didn't quite turn out like I had imagined, but it was fun paper piecing the stove, window, and little utensils so I'll have to give it another go sometime! 

Every month we post a brand new challenge with three themes to choose from, and a mid month inspiration post with even more creative ideas! You are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

This month's challenge will remain open until March 3rd!

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

My idea for this card was a litter of kittens playing on a non-traditional valentine card. 

I really love Mini Mews and Geo 2 Stencil together, and thought it would look striking in a monochromatic look. 

 This is an awesome set for all the feline lovers out there!

Day 3 Kraftin Kimmie February Peek: Mini Mews!

February Krafty Peeks... Day THREE! Mini Mews! Saturday February 11 @ 7 am EST

     Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the February Release 

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

This set is filled with sweet kitties, accessory stamps and so many wonderful sentiments!

Check out MINI MEWS! in so many amazing creations today as you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs!  You'll also see the beautiful new stencils, GEO 2 and FUNKY FLORAL (a layering stencil!!) along the way! 

This may be my favorite project I've created so far!

I stamped the cute little sleeping kitten on a digital die cut moon, and coloured her to look like my kitty Dora (or a certain japanese magical girl's talking kitty).

I took some purple paper and ink blended the edges to darken it up with Purple Petunia, and Wicked Black.

I then added Deco Duo Gel through the Geo 2 stencil and waited until it was dry. I then, added some platinum embossing powder (but it didn't stick to every spot) so I also added pink deco foil over top. It created a cool textured shiny look! 

I wanted to add more pops of yellow, so I added some clay stars and a chipboard star under the sentiment. 

It's my niece's birthday so I will be giving her this special card. I know the cat lover in her will be so excited! 

It's also my birthday today, and I cannot wait to start the day celebrating it with all of you at the release party! 

Everything will be released after our LIVE Online Release Party TODAY!  All the fun takes place in the Krafty Friends facebook group beginning at 2 pm ET!  See you there!

Krafin Kimmie Krafty Peek Day 2: Namaste!

   Welcome back to Day TWO of our February Krafty Peeks!

I really love sloth's (not as much as Red Panda's but they are in my top 10!)

So I had to colour up this wonderful stamp! 

He was so much fun to colour up in rusty oranges and peaches to match my colours! 

I ink blended with Rich Rust through the new Funky Floral stencil for a retro look. 

I stamped the sentiment in our Soft Sage to match my pattern paper and gems from Prima!

I hope you love these fun Yogi's as much as I do!

Day 1 February Kraftin Kimmie Peek!

February Krafty Peeks... Day ONE! Flirty Foxes! Thurs Feb 9 @ 7 am EST

  Who's ready for lots of brand new Krafty goodies?!

It's time for our February Release Peeks to begin 

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we’re featuring an adorable set of cute and crafty foxes

designed by Neda Sadreddin

 and it's called.....

FLIRTY FOXES!

There are so many great sentiments to use with these awesome foxes as well as accessory stamps perfect to mix and match with your other sets!

February Kraftin' Kimmie products!  

We've also got TWO new Krafty Stencils for this month's release to help add some funky fun to your creations!  

They are called....
GEO 2 STENCIL

and FUNKY FLORAL

(a 2 piece layering stencil!)

Both designs are perfect for all your cards, scrapbook pages, mixed media and more!

My inspiration for the adorable flirty foxes is that they're playing hide and go seek in a wildflower patch! 

I first stamped and masked the foxes that are hiding on the panel. 

I then ink blended the background using flirty flamingo, pink pizzazz, rich rust, and berry bliss through the new funky floral stencil. 

I also inked some additional flowers on a separate sheet and fussy cut (yes I actually broke out my scissors) so I could add some flowers over the hidden foxes. 

I needed to prop the fox counting on something, so I added the rock from Leapin' Lizzards. This is becoming one of my most used stamps as it was perfect for the little fox to sit on.

I added a little speech bubble so he was counting (realized after it should have been 3,2,1 oh well!) 

I wanted to use one of the sentiments from the set so I added it to the inside of the card and blended some more flowers. 

It was a bit hard to try and figure out how to do this, but I'm proud that I think it comes off as some playful little foxes!

on  Saturday, February 11th at 2 pm EST in the Krafty Friends group!

Kraftin Kimmie February scrappy challenge

 Good morning krafty friends!

Happy New Year!

It's February, and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Here's some fabulous inspiration this month!

For my inspiration, I decided to make a mix media canvas of my sweet bundle of fur, Dora! 

I started with inking the edges of the canvas with Purple Petunia , and Wicked black ink. 

I then added a neutral pattern paper over top, and stenciled with nuvo paste and Pawprints 2 stencil on the right side of the panel.

I placed the photo's of Dora over the stenciling. 

I stamped the super cute kitty from Cozy Kids Christmas and the outline hearts from Stinkin Cute.

I added some beautiful ephemra from Prima and created Dora's name using die cuts from paper that I inked with Lavish Lilac before I cut. 

I added some pink fresh sparkly gems for a final touch. 

My layout was inspired by a previous layout I made for my beloved previous pet Cobalt a few years ago. 

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!

I thought it would be fun to make my own background pattern to match the bottom pattern paper with the rainbows from last month's Krafty Mice. I then simply stamped the pegasus and coloured her in copic markers to match!
