at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps !

Are you ready for another fun and krafty challenge to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing?

This week, Krafty Girl Melanie is your hostess and her challenge theme for you is:

A Recipe Challenge:

Glitter, Stencil & Sentiment!

I have two cards made for this challenge!

The first one is using the Christmas Candy stencil, some glitter embossing, and the Yummy Christmas set for the sentiment.

The second card is using the Pretty Poinsettia stencil, white sparkly embossing powder, and the sentiment is from Perfect Poinsettia stamp set.

Each and every Saturday we post a brand new challenge for the week and you are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

The monthly prize is a $25 voucher to the Krafty shop!!!

This release has been amazing! As soon as I saw one of the sassy sentiments in Sabrina's new Holiday Sentiment set, I instantly knew what older Kraftin Kimmie set I wanted to pair with it!

Friends to the finish! has this wonderful sassy woman who looks like she is enjoying some sips at a fancy Christmas party. I wanted her to be saying the sentiment, so I pulled out a speech bubble die.

I decorated my panel by first inking Crisp Crimson, Marvelous Mocha, and Rich Rust

Ink over a light pink paper.

This made for a very rich red wine coloured background. I then inked Cool Crystal Stencil with Marvelous Mocha over the whole panel.

Added some watercolour splatters, sequins, and dots from my stash.

It was fun making a bit more of a "grown up" card.

I hope you adore this release as much as I did! I will definitely be playing with all the stamps the rest of this winter season!

November Kraftin Kimmie Peek Day 3: Skating Friends!

Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the November Release

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a wonderful winter set

by artist

Neda Sadreddin called...

SKATING FRIENDS!

You'll notice this awesome set coordinates with yesterday's SNOWBALL FIGHT stamp set and features our friends taking part in some fun skating activities!

As you hop around the design team's blogs today you'll be able to check out SKATING FRIENDS! in action in combination with a lot of our other new November Kraftin' Kimmie products!

Of course I had to do another gift bag! I'm a bit obesessed with decorating gift bags, as it gives me a large canvas to showcase all the images!

I started by using Kraftin Kimmie Inks, and some pigment inks to decorate the gift bag in a circle bokeh pattern.

Then I coloured up all the images in Skating Friends, and added them to blue ovals to simulate skating ponds.

I used the Krafty Scenery 4 Stencil to make the little abstract white tree's/ mountains, and added snowflakes from my stash.

I decorated the top of the bag using one of the chipboard pieces from the November add on bundle. I embossed a sentiment from this stamp set, and added a wood snowflake, washy tape, and another little snowflake.

I had so much fun decorating this gift bag, and I know I'll be using it on Christmas Morning!

This set of stamps are so cute and I know I'll be making loads of projects with them!

November Kraftin Kimmie Peek Day 2: Snowball Fight!

Welcome back to Day TWO of our November Krafty Peeks!

Are you excited about what you've seen so far!? Are you ready for more?

I hope your answer was yes because we've got more fabulous fun for you today!

The stamp set we are 'peeking' for you today is from

artist Neda Sadreddin

and it's called.....

SNOWBALL FIGHT!

This adorable set features an assortment of wintery friends having the best time ever!! Seriously, do you remember how much fun it was as a kid to have a snowball fight?!

Check out SNOWBALL FIGHT! in so many awesome creations today as you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs! You'll also see the new stencils and Add-On bundle along the way!

I've been dreaming of a pink, mauve, cream copper, and gold project for a while!

I started with using the Cool Crystals stencil and embossing powder on 3 corners of the card.

I then added a wash of the pink/purple watercolour on the background. This added a soft glow in the middle of my project.

I made some snowflakes in my mauve, cream, copper and gold (embossing powder) to scatter down the main panel.

I coloured the adorable images in copics, and backed them with a panel using Scenery 4 and Berry Bliss ink for some non traditional clouds. I splattered some shimmery watercolour ink on top to simulate snow.

Lastly, I embossed the sentiment from the set at the bottom, and added a sub sentiment over one of the banners from the Art-tropion chipboards in the add-on kit (which I inked with copics to match my colour scheme).

You'll see more of our November goodies all week, and then everything will be released after our LIVE Online Release Party on Saturday at 2 pm ET in the Krafty Friends facebook group!

I love this sentiment set! It will be awesome to use with so many Kraftin Kimmie Stamp sets.

I chose to use the It's the season to sparkle from the set, after I made a very sparkly card using the cool crystal stencil and some glimmer foil!

I decorated a wood snowflake ornament with gold sparkly embossing powder, and added the sentiment in the middle.

The ornament can be removed to hang on a tree!

I will definitely be using this set more!

Kraftin Kimmie Saturday Challenge: Be Square!

BE SQUARE!

Make a Square Card!

I needed to make a sympathy card for my boss, and I thought that Perfect Peony would make a perfect sympathy card.

To make this card I merged two square frames, and peony's in my silhouette and cut out.

I then stamped the image twice in white embossing powder, so I could easily watercolour the blooms.

After, I added gold watercolour paint, some gold pearls and a die cut sentiment for a pretty and simple card.

My favorite cards to make are square cards, as I enjoy their equal sides and larger room for bigger images.

Kraftin Kimmie November Scrappy Challenge: Frozen Fractal ATC's

Good morning krafty friends!

It's November, and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation! As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!

You have until Monday, December 5th to enter, and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN! Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!

Over at Danni's Dream Happy Mail group we were challenged to make ATC's using stencils.

I chose Frozen Fractals as I wanted a geometric design for them.

I inked up the stencil by colour blocking with Gorgeous Grape, Lavish Lilac and Amazing Azure ink. I then add versa mark and gold embossing powder to some of the triangles.

For a final touch I used the sentiment from Let's Get Krafty.
