Kraftin Kimmie July challenge: ribbon/ twine, summer, and blue!

   Good morning and welcome to our  

Monthly Saturday Challenge Mid Inspiration Post

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are back today with an inspirational post showcasing more ideas to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing!

We can't wait to see what you create!

This month the challenge themes for you are: 

Ribbon/Twine, Summer and/or Blue!

You can choose any or all - whatever inspires you!

Our Ink Of The Month, which will be on sale all month long, just happens to be a lovely shade of blue!! This month features the gorgeous Amazing Azure Ink Pad, Cube and Reinker! Grab it now to add to your collection.

Krafty Girl Brigitte is hosting the mid-inspiration post today!

For this challenge I used an oldie but a goodie with the stamp set Ahoy Sailor!

I thought she would be pretty alongside our Krafty Scenery 3 Stencil, with inks:  

Amazing Azure, Aqua Adventure, and Sparkling Sapphire. 

I then added some pattern paper layers, a little anchor charm tied with ribbon, and an array of stickers to decorate my card.  

Every month we post a brand new challenge with three themes to choose from, and a mid month inspiration post with even more creative ideas! You are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

This month's challenge will remain open until July 31st.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

I just had to combine Mermaid Kisses with Barefoot Beach stamp set!

I coloured everything to match my pattern paper for a very bright and summer card.

 

Unfortunately my camera is not capturing the silver I used, so check out my Instagram where I will try and show off the shine.

I added a mental silver tip to the mermaid tail, as I was thinking about a childhood friend who was an amputee, who swam faster than anyone I knew. 

I remember her saying, “that in the water she just pretended she was a mermaid.” 

Why be a boring human when you can be a mermaid!

Kraftin Kimmie Release + new stamps Relaxolotl!

Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the July Release 

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a fabulous new set 

by artist Michelle Houghton

 called...

RELAXALOTL!

These adorable axolotl friends fit right in with our underwater theme this month!! And of course we have lots of punny sentiments to go with them!

I have a lot of family and friends who love axolotls these cuties were so much fun to colour up!

I inked blended the panel with Pink pizzazz, and Amazing Azure. I then stamped each of the axolotl’s with Magical Midnight and coloured around the outside of them with my B99 marker. 

 

Everything will be released after our LIVE Online Release Party TODAY!  All the fun takes place in the Krafty Friends facebook group beginning at 12 noon ET!  See you there!

July Kraftin Kimmie Peek: Barefoot Beach

 Today is our third day of Krafty Peeks for the July Release

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we are 'peeking' a beautiful scenery set

BAREFOOT BEACH!

We now have a new seaside landscape to add to our collection!! If you're a fan, you'll also want to check out the beautiful Majestic Mountains scenery and Desert Landscape sets!!

For today’s creation I gave my recent love of Aqua and Fuchsia another spin! 

I started by heat embossing the stamp onto my colouring Cardstock in white, I then coloured it with my Copics.

I wanted a firework in the sky so using stencil butter I added it through the Fancy Fireworks stencil.

I framed it and added this to a simple pattern paper and card base. 

I love these stamps can be used by themselves or with some of our cute beach themed ones! 

You'll see more of our July goodies tomorrow, and then everything will be released after our LIVE Online Release Party on Saturday at 12 noon ET in the Krafty Friends facebook group!

Kraftin Kimmie July Peek: Mermaid Kisses

Who's ready for lots of brand new Krafty goodies?!

It's time for our July Release Peeks to begin 

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today we have a beautiful underwater set to start off the week

designed by Neda Sadreddin,

You'll find three enchanting mermaids ready to share their magic and of course, in true Neda style, so many fantastic accessories!!

We've also got TWO new Krafty Stencils for this month's release to help add some funky fun to your creations!  

They are called....
SASSY SEASHELLS

and 

UNDERWATER SCENERY

Both designs are perfect for all your cards, scrapbook pages, mixed media and more!

For my creation I started by cutting a panel of watercolour paper and dry embossed it with the new Sassy Seashell stencil.

I inked it up using Amazing Azure, Lovely Lagoon, Pink Pizazz, and Purple Petunia ink. 

I spritz on some clear shimmer spray to make it super sparkly.

I coloured up the swimming mermaid, the treasure chest, and added it to the outside of my shaker window. I also added a chipboard seaweed piece which was inked with stencil butter. 

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment and added some bling. 

I will have a reel/ Instagram story shortly showing the glitz on this card, as photo’s don’t do it justice! 

You'll get to see all of our brand new goodies in action over the next few days of the July Krafty Peeks and everything will be released at our LIVE Release Party 

on  Saturday, July 10th at 12 pm noon EST in the Krafty Friends group!

I just love the beach and I totally would enjoy sitting in the sand with this little mouse making sand castles.
