Kraftin Kimmie October Hop and Shop!

I created a fun triangle cut/ fold card for today's blog hop using Sweet Tweetings, and Geo 3 stencil with the following inks: Soft Sage, Goblin Green and Granite Grey. 

I'm always looking for more gender neutral cards in my stash, and I think this can be a great set to make a card for anybody! 

I will be teaching how to make this card in the Krafty Klub this afternoon at 12 pm EST if you are part of the group I hope you will join me!

Day 3 of October Kraftin Kimmie Release: Season’s Tweetings

          Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the October Release 

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Season's Tweetings!

These sweet bird friends are ready to help spread holiday cheer! 

I chose to paint the fabulous blue Jay in the set! I actually struggled with the Blue Jay markings… and well now he sort of looks like he is wearing ski goggles! Lol but, I think he still turned out great!

I chose to use the new tree-mendous stencil a little differently by repeat stenciling the first 2 layers in  the following ink: 

Bubbly Blue, Designer Denim, Magical Midnight and Stormy Sky to make kind of an ombré Forest. 

I still need to use this stencil the traditional way, but I’m sure it will be making an appearance on lots of future cards! It’s so amazing!

  Welcome back to Day TWO of our October Krafty Peeks!

Mrs. Claus is baking up some delicious cookies for Christmas! 

I love her and think you could use her for any celebration just by colouring her Holly in her hair different colours.

I chose a soft pink for this one, as I tend to like non-traditional colours for my Christmas Cards!

I sneakily stamped the cookies on the brown heart for a little pattern tone on tone look! 

I agree Mrs. Claus calories don’t count at Christmas!

I just adore this penguin couple holding candy canes!

I paired them with the new Geo 3 stencil inked with Crisp Crimson ink.

I used the Original Olive ink to ink my tab for the sentiment and the Holly leaves chipboard. 

I think this turned out pretty cute, and I used traditional red and green (which is unusual for me) for this one.

You can choose one or both - whatever inspires you!

I chose both prompts for my mix media project! 

Supplies used: 

Stamps: Autumn Pumpkins, and the adorable dog from Frosty Friends.

Stencil: Geo 1 Stencil

Ink: Pumpkin Patch, and Sandy Shores

Other Supplies: Pumpkin wood canvas, Tim Holtz Mica Stains, Ephemera from Simply Stated Designs, Ribbon from my stash, and stickers from various sticker packs.

Every month we post a brand new challenge with two themes to choose from, and a mid month inspiration post with even more creative ideas! You are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

 Good morning krafty friends! 

It's October, and that means it's time for a brand new

SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!

I decided to make a little spooky art to hang on my wall for Halloween. 

I used a lot of Kraftin Kimmie Products so I thought it would be just easier if I list them below.

Stamp set: Owl-chemy

Ink: Green Goblin, Charming Charteuse, Pink Pizzazz, Purple Petunia, and Wicked Black

Stencil: Ghoulish Ghost

The wood potion bottle is from an Etsy shop called KJDCraftsSupplies

The shimmer added to my background is watercolours used from the Etsy shop ToebeansHobbies

Both shops are Canadian which I just love! 

All other supplies are random treasures found in my craft room that are a bit hard to track down the names of (some of the products used is over a decade old).

For my card I decided it would be cute if the penguin was popping out of the package and throwing the top off to say Surprise! 

Through the layering stencil Gifts Galore I inked Goblin Green, Whimsical Wisteria, Tranquil Teal and some silver glimmer paste to create my background.

I've been having fun inking my die cuts with the same ink as the background to make it match perfectly.
