Kraftin Kimmie Challenge inspiration!

  Good morning and welcome to our  

Monthly Saturday Challenge Mid Inspiration Post

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are back today with an inspirational post showcasing more ideas to inspire you and help get your creative juices flowing!

We can't wait to see what you create!

This month the challenge themes for you are: 

STITCHING, STENCILS AND/OR ORANGE!

You can choose any or all - whatever inspires you!

I chose to colour up this cutie from Kitty Kapers, as It’s the one year anniversary of my clinic cat’s passing. This card makes me smile as Bucket was always so mischievous like this kitty.

I also inked up the Cozy Check Stencil with Bashful Blush, and Cool Cantaloupe.

For the stitching prompt I chose to hand stitch a few areas on the panel with lilac metallic thread.

I kept the design of this one simple so that the stitching and kitty could be the stars of the show.

Every month we post a brand new challenge with three themes to choose from, and a mid month inspiration post with even more creative ideas! You are welcome to enter as many times as you like.

This month's challenge will remain open until May 5th.

These must be new creations and you are welcome to use any stamp, however, using Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp products will earn you double entries!

Today I decided to make a card using two of our new sets Perfect Adventures and Majestic Mountains! 

I thought it would be too cute if I showed his photo of the time he visited the mountains in a polaroid frame. 

I combined pattern paper and a Gelli Print background made with the new Charming Chevron Stencil. 

I added some enamel dots, and some stickers for a more layered look. I love that I could give this card to one of my male family members!

Krafty Peeks Day 3: Dino-mite

       Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the April Release 

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a fabulous prehistoric dinosaur set 

by artist Neda Sadreddin

 called...

DINO-MITE!

These awesome dinos are ready to party and send some sweet wishes out to their friends! 

I started by using the chevron stencil and my gelli plate to make a subtle background panel. 

I then randomly stamped the Dino’s over top the chevron design and coloured them in with Copics. 

I then added a pattern paper strip, some die cuts, and the sentiment. 

These Dino’s are so cute I couldn’t decide between using just one!

April Krafty Peeks Day 2: Majestic Mountains!

     Welcome back to Day TWO of our April Krafty Peeks!

Are you excited about what you've seen so far!?  Are you ready for more?

I hope your answer was yes because we've got more fabulous fun for you today!

The stamp set we are 'peeking' for you today is from 

artist Michelle Houghton

 and it's called.....

MAJESTIC MOUNTAINS!

This beautiful mountain background would be the perfect backdrop to create a scene for your images - or amazing alone with a sentiment!

 Check out MAJESTIC MOUNTAINS and our new stencils in so many awesome creations today as you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs!  

When I saw Michelle’s stamp set I immediately knew I wanted to make a card that could switch from night into day! 

Trying to figure out how to do this was a bit of a difficult task, but I’m happy to say I did finally figure it out! 

The mountains were coloured with Copics and liquid appliqué to add some snow.

I then added it to the front flap of the card with a frame to hide my edges.

On the back flap I inked up the day scene with our Krafty Scenery 4 Stencil, and the sun from the Krafty Scenery 3 Stencil.

I also stamped the sentiment. 

Then on a separate panel I made a night scene with Krafty Scenery 4 Stencil, and the Starburst Stencil. 

This panel slides up to reveal the day scene! 

You'll see more of our April goodies all week, and then everything will be released after our LIVE Online Release Party on Saturday at 2 pm ET in the Krafty Friends facebook group!

I thought I would start off with not just one card but two!  

These critters were so fun to colour up, that I thought it would be great to use them for Kendra’s Card Challenge!. 

I started by colouring up the cute little bunny and bear, then using the sketches in the challenge I created my cards with pattern paper and our new stencils! 

I’ll definitely be showing off more cards with the sketches this month, and did you know Kim is one of the sponsors for this challenge?

April Kraftin Kimmie Scrappy Challenge!

   Good morning krafty friends!

It's April, and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Here's some fabulous inspiration from our Design Team this month!

I created my first calendar page of the Year! (🫢 eep it’s only April!)

I featured the bugs from 

Love Bugs, and the little bee from our new Stamp of the month Bee Happy!

I loved how Kim used the stencils on her page, so I was inspired to use Lots of dots with Cool Cantaloupe, Yummy Yellow, and Raspberry Rose ink! 

In order to enter our challenge just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!  

You have until Monday, May 1st to enter, and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN!  Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!

Oh my gosh! I’m in love with this adorable stamp! 

It reminds me of a Disney flower! 

I chose to watercolour the flower and bee separately to fit my card front design. 

I then added a whole bunch of scraps and ephemera on top of a gelli plate background I made using; Cool Cantaloupe , Yummy Yellow  and the Stained Glass Stencil
