Kraftin Kimmie February release shop and hop!

   Woohoo!!! 

Today we are celebrating all the fabulous new goodies in our February Release that are NOW available in the

 Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Shop!

and we're excited to share it ALL with you in a fabulous krafty HOP!

Today I wanted to share a little mix media project!

I’ve had this embroidery hoop sitting in my stash for a long time, and it was time to try and make something with it.

On a piece of sturdy cardstock I cut out a circle and added texture paste through one of our Layer of eggs stencils, I then added some soft pastel inks to simulate mini eggs. 

I painted the cute little Easter bunny and added him to a wooden Easter Egg that I added layers of Nuvo paste. 

I added a chipboard swirl behind the Easter egg, and then added some flowers and a sentiment banner. 

I had fun making this Easter project, and will be gifting it on Easter weekend to my family.

February Kraftin Kimmie Stamps peek Day 2: Gear Up!

 Today is our final day of Krafty Peeks for the February Release 

 at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

We are so excited to share a fabulous new set

Gear Up!

These robots are absolutely awesome!! You'll find them perfect for birthday, thank you and so many more themes! Who doesn't love a cute robot!!

Check out Gear Up! in so many amazing creations today as you hop around the Krafty Team's blogs!  You'll also see our beautiful new stencils, Layers Of Eggs along the way! 

These bots are so much fun to colour up! I decided to go with a Navy, Peach, and Beige colour scheme for my birthday card.

I ink blended using the mask from our stencil set Perfect Postage as it looked like the gears in the set. I then coloured up the robots and gears. I then cut the gears in half so I could Layer them under the sentiment and along the sides. 

I cannot wait to make more cards with this set! 

Everything will be released after our LIVE Online Release Party TODAY!  All the fun takes place in the Krafty Friends facebook group beginning at 2 pm ET!  See you there!

I adore these cute little Easter critter’s from Sabrina! It was hard picking the first one to use.

I settled on the sweet little sheep with her daffodils and painted her with my Watercolours. 

I then decided to try a new technique (at least new for me) of a corner folded card. This was so easy and fun to do!

I was in a purple mode when creating this card so I used some P13 papers and ephemera to decorate the front of the card. 

I cannot wait to play with some of the other critters for all my Easter and Spring cards!

February Kraftin Kimmie Scrappy Challenge (Anything but a card) keeping myself organized!

 Good morning krafty friends! 

It's February, and that means it's time for a brand new

SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Here are some Skrappy projects from our Design Team to inspire you! 

For this month's challenge I decided to make a laminated planner for my work! 

I started by making my planner page with my computer, then used the Becky's adorable animal stamps Mini Mews, Puppy Power and A Purr-fect Day to decorate the page.

Once I was done decorating the page I simply laminated it to be waterproof and reusable. 

Being a Veterinary Technician I love that I have a wide assortment of Puppers and Kittens in the Kraftin Kimmie Stamp line! 

If you are going to participate in this challenge, just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!

Here is some inspiration from our Design Team using the adorable I Pick You stamp set!

This adorable mouse is ready for Spring! 

For my background I used the Krafty Kaleidoscope

stencil, over a ink blended panel of Mostly Melon, Morning Marigold, and Raspberry Rose ink. I then used some Opal Polish in Flamingo for the shine!

I cut out the sentiment Cutie and scallop frame with my Silhouette, and added the I pick you sentiment in Sandy Shore ink.

I really love the fuzzy peach look of this colour combo.
