Every release I try to do at least one project out of my comfort zone, but I was a bit delayed in getting this done for the Krafty Peek, so I’m sharing it now.

This is called an angle fold card, and I thought it would be fun with our little skier from the Have an ice day set! 

I paired him with some pattern paper, and our new birch stencil.

Ink used on the birch stencil is Magical Midnight which is on sale this month! I inked through the stencil on some woodgrain pattern paper, then splattered white ink for a very snowy background! 

I’m going to have to try this fold some more, as it was very easy and fun to do!

Krafty Peek Day 3!

 Goooood morning and welcome back to
Day THREE of our October Krafty Peeks!!

Today we are thrilled to share a super fun winter themed stamp set by artist Neda Sadreddin called FLAKY FRIENDS!!

And ALSO we have a brand new wintery stencil for you called
BIRCH TREES!!!

I rarely go for the soft pastel look, but something was drawing me towards pastels colours for this card.

These little snowmen are having so much fun decorating the Christmas tree! 

I used the birch tree stencil with some  stencil butter over pattern paper as well! 

I think this turned out so cute! Will have to try colouring this way again!

Kraftin Kimmie Sneak Peek October Release Day 1

 Who's ready for some brand NEW Krafty Goodies?

It's time to bring you NEW stamp sets and layering stencils

from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

In case you haven't heard, we have moved the releases to every other month but the same number of wonderful products!

So we will be sharing FOUR new stamp sets (including a Winter Krafty Komeback) and TWO new sets of stencils over the course of this week!

Today we are SO excited to kick things off with these fiery dragons and naughty elves from artist Sabrina van Vloten called 

FLAMING HOLIDAYS!!  

As you head out on today's Krafty Hop you'll get to enjoy lots of amazing creations from our Krafty Team featuring FLAMING HOLIDAYS and our totally unique new HOLIDAY ORNAMENTS layering stencil in combination with some of our other incredible products such as our Krafty Kolours Hybrid Inks!

 

I adore Dragons! If asked what are my favourite animals it’s red pandas and dragons! (No one can tell me they are not real!)

I love that Sabrina created some mischievous dragons and elves for this set.

I created my background using our new stencil with Lavish Lilac, Purple Petunia, Soft Sage, and Lovely Lagoon. I then took the second layer and added Nuvo Glimmer paste to the ornaments. 

I coloured up the stamp with Copics and gel pens to match my pattern paper.
