For today's card I definitely wanted to revisit the new Penguin Paradise stamp set!
I first used watermark ink and repeat stamped the cute little beach ball, and heat embossed it in white.

I generously sprayed the watercolour paper and added some Daniel Smith Watercolours to blend the pinks into the yellow for a soft background. Before it dried I used a dry paper towel to mop up the colours in the beach balls to lighten them.

Once the panel was dry I added a little bit more concentrated watercolours in some of the beach balls. I decided to leave some of the balls not coloured because I like the contrast between the light ones and the darker ones.

I knew I wanted to use the momma and baby penguin on my card, and decided to stamp them onto wood circles I had in my stash. Both penguins didn't fit on one circle so I stamped them seperately and layered them to fit both penguins.
I used my acryla gouache to pain the penguins and added watercolour splashes behind them.

I painted a few more of the wood circles for my design.

I then tried to decide which sentiment worked with my card.... The penguins weren't really chilling (so let's chill didn't work), and they were not surfing so I didn't want to use that one either. I decided to just use the hi from the surfin by to say hi! for a simple hello card.

I feel like the colours have a vintage beach feel!

Now head on out on today's celebration blog hop and check out all the new products in action as the Krafty Team shares their incredible designs!  Then jump on over to the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps shop and grab some of these fabulous goodies for yourself!

Happy Krafting!
