I recently taught a Klass in the Krafty Klub using our new I Bee-lieve in you, and bumblebee stencil.

I created the background using the following ink on a vanilla cardstock: Purple PansyYummy YellowMarvellous Mocha, and Blue Bay. After I added some Tim Holtz Grit Sparkle Paste to add shimmer on the wings. I love that I can make any glitter paste by placing this translucent paste overtop our ink!

I then die cut the sentiment strip and scallop circle, and inked with our ink of the month: Purple Pansy

I coloured the bee in some brown and yellow markers for a softer look, and matched the flower to the purple pansy colour. I of course had to add some sparkle to the bee's wings, so I added some irridescent sparkly watercolours from my new favourite Esty shop ToebeansHobbies

Lastly, I added some yellow bakers twine from my minds eye, and some iridescent gems.

This card took no time at all, and I loved that I didn’t completely cover up the background I made!

Happy hoppin'!  And happy shoppin'!
